The key to beans on toast is to spend as little money as possible, no snobs allowed:

ASDA Beans: 24p (410g)

Smart Price wholemeal bread: 33p (800g)

Vialite butter: £0.98 (500g)

Sriracha (Flying Goose): £1.50 (445ml)

Steps:

Find a microwavable container,

For the beans will lay in their manger.

Cook for 4 minutes,

Please know your limits,

Then fill the tub with sriracha.

There were two pals that were bread,

They lay in a toaster, their bed.

Now, here comes a third.

This is absurd.

Now let’s get ready to spread.

Spreading takes time and care,

Especially spreading with flare.

Use your will and might,

Sweetness and light.

Perfect, beyond compare!

Oh old friend, by all means,

Don’t mean to be crass,

You’ll be full of gas,

Along with buckets of protein.
